Day 5x8-Hour (06:45 - 15:15) Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Olney, MD. Provide direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient and effective surgical operations. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in condition.
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols. Participate in the orientation and training of new staff as needed.
Current RN license in the state of Maryland. Minimum of 2 years of General Surgery experience required. Travel experience is required.
BLS required. Flu vaccine is mandatory for all employees. Shift details include two Day 5x8-Hour shifts (06:45 - 15:15 and 10:45 - 19:15) and the possibility of on-call shifts.
Travelers will be expected to take up to five (5) 12-hour call shifts per six-week scheduling period, primarily on weekends. Scrubs will be provided. Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate; please reach out for local rates.
