Quick Look ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Rockport, Maine. Location Rockport, ME Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Call shifts required, including one weeknight call per week (4:30 PM to 7:00 AM) and one weekend call every 6 to 7 weeks.
The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room of a 100-bed community hospital, providing care for surgical patients. This role emphasizes teamwork, with an expectation for all team members to assist with room turnovers and support each other. Experience in a smaller facility's operating room is preferred, and familiarity with multiple surgical service lines is beneficial.
Responsibilities Provide direct care to surgical patients in the operating room. Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety. Assist in room turnovers and maintain a sterile environment.
Participate in on-call rotations as required. Required Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Operating Room setting, with at least 5 years of circulating experience preferred. Certifications/Licensure Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required for on-call duties.
