Evenings, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 23, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of three years of OR specialty experience. Details Surgery unit within an acute care hospital setting Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS certification from an AHA-approved vendor required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred Minimum of three years of recent experience in the OR specialty required Experience within the last three months in the submitted specialty required Cerner or Epic experience must be documented if applicable Additional Information Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs Develops and implements care plans, coordinating care delivery to promote health and safety Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe and compassionate care Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care Provides learning opportunities and health information to patients, families, and team members Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction
