Days, 4x10hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN-Operating Room with CT or compact RN licensure and Level II Trauma experience for a 13-week day shift assignment. Details Operating Room unit caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Case types include general, trauma, gynecologic, orthopedic, podiatric, robotic, bariatric, and other OR specialties Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours (6:45a-3:15p) or 5x8 hours accepted Weekend coverage required every third weekend Call required one weekday per week and one weekend per month (24-hour Saturday/Sunday) Uses Omnicell medication system and Cerner documentation system Utilizes SBAR communication system Requirements Active CT or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred Prior charge nurse experience preferred Previous travel nursing experience required Experience with any charting system required Proficiency in Universal Protocol (time out) procedures, specimen handling/labeling, and urinary bladder catheterization Additional Information Scrubs are provided First-time travelers are not accepted for this unit Candidates residing within 75 miles are considered local and are eligible at a reduced rate Provide perioperative nursing care across general, orthopedic, gynecologic, podiatric, robotic, and trauma surgical cases
