Nights, 4x12hrs Hours: 48 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 12, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Orthopedic/Neuro unit on night shift, requiring at least 1 year of recent Ortho or Med/Surg hospital experience. Details Works in the Ortho/Neuro unit of a hospital setting with 36 beds Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM RN patient ratio of 5:1 with 8-12 patients per tech Team includes a charge RN, RNs to volume, 1-2 techs, and a secretary on each shift Uses equipment such as immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices Charts using the Meditech EMR Unit performs total joint procedures (knee, hip, shoulder) and spine surgery Requirements Active CO or compact RN license required BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred Minimum 1 year of current Ortho RN or Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting required Ortho/Spine experience preferred No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months US SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct patient care for orthopedic and spine surgery patients including total joint replacements Join a unit known for strong teamwork, outcomes, and employee engagement Facility recognized as a Magnet Hospital and voted Best Place to Work in Denver for four consecutive years Energetic, empathetic candidates with a good sense of humor are a strong personality fit for this unit Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
