Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor position in an acute care setting. The role provides care for orthopedic patients with hip, knee, shoulder, and spine conditions on 12-hour day shifts. Previous travel experience and strong teamwork are required.
Job Details Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience, previous travel experience, and demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday participation according to the permanent staff rotation. Additional Information: The role supports a 17-bed medical-surgical orthopedic unit with typical patient ratios of 1:5. Patients may require portable telemetry monitoring, and the ability to read and interpret dysrhythmias is required.
The position cares for patients recovering from hip, knee, shoulder, and spine procedures, with no drips. One unit orientation shift is provided.
