The primary responsibilities include performing diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate should be competent in producing, assessing, and evaluating ultrasound images and related data used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis.
Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Breast (BR), or willingness to attain the breast credential within 6 months of hire if not certified
Strong understanding of breast anatomy and pathology.
Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills.
Previous experience working in a breast center.
