Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Orthopedics Facility: Athletico Physical Therapy Location: Iowa City, Iowa Discipline: Physical Therapist (PT) Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics
Monday–Friday, Days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week outpatient assignment with Athletico Physical Therapy in Iowa City, Iowa! This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine and helping patients return to the activities they love. About Athletico Physical Therapy Athletico is a well-established outpatient rehabilitation provider known for its focus on orthopedic physical therapy, sports medicine, injury prevention and individualized patient care.
Athletico clinics commonly provide services such as: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation Sports injury rehabilitation and return-to-sport programs Postoperative rehabilitation Manual therapy and therapeutic exercise Balance, mobility and functional rehabilitation Injury prevention and patient education You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, from active adults and athletes to individuals recovering from surgery or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Specific patient populations and clinic caseload expectations will depend on the assigned location.
Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans Treat orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and functional rehabilitation Guide postoperative patients through recovery Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans Collaborate with clinic staff and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate clinical documentation Qualifications Active Iowa Physical Therapist license or applicable PT Compact privilege Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred Strong clinical reasoning and patient communication skills Ability to manage an outpatient caseload About Iowa City, Iowa Iowa City is a vibrant university community in eastern Iowa, offering a wonderful combination of college-town energy, restaurants, entertainment and outdoor recreation.
