5x8-Hour Days (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | No Scheduled Weekends) Position OverviewAn established healthcare network in Westchester County is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist for a full-time, direct-hire outpatient clinic role in Harrison, NY. This position offers a set daytime schedule (8 AM – 5 PM, Mon–Fri) focusing on high-quality routine and diagnostic medical radiographic imaging, patient positioning, and PACS/RIS workflow.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality diagnostic radiography and special procedure exams following established protocols. Prepare, instruct, and safely position patients across all age groups (pediatric through geriatric). Operate and calibrate digital X-ray equipment; manage digital images using PACS and Meditech/RIS systems.
Assist radiologists and attending physicians during procedures and facilitate wet readings when required. Adhere to radiation protection standards (Image Gently & Image Wisely principles) to ensure patient and team safety. RequirementsGraduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based programActive ARRT (R) certification upon hireActive New York State Department of Health (DOH) Radiologic Technologist License (or valid NY DOH Limited Permit upon hire)Current AHA BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire)Willingness to complete NY DOH IV Certification within 180 days of hire
