REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Position: PACU / Recovery Room RN. Prior PACU or post-anesthesia recovery experience required; minimum years are not specified. Must be competent in: Immediate post-anesthesia patient assessment and monitoring.
Postoperative and post-procedural nursing care. Pain management. Evaluating patient responses to treatment and interventions.
Anticipating procedure-specific recovery needs. Following AORN/ASPAN aseptic and sterile technique standards. Pre-Op experience preferred, as the traveler may assist in both departments.
Cerner Compass experience preferred; not explicitly listed as mandatory. SCHEDULE
Days, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM. Working days: Monday–Friday. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS BLS – Required.
ACLS – Required. PALS – Required. ASPAN certification preferred but not mandatory.
LICENSE Active Texas RN license or valid multistate/compact RN license required.
