Overview We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in an intermediate care setting. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a dynamic hospital environment, values teamwork, and is comfortable caring for patients across both medical telemetry and step-down areas. 12-hour night shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Assignment Length: 13 weeks Openings: 4 positions available Estimated Weekly
$2,310 - $2,440 Location: Springfield, MA 01199 Call: No call required Job Requirements At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required 1-2 years of experience preferred in intermediate care , step-down , or med-tele settings Active ACLS and BLS certifications required Experience caring for patients with trachs, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPAP, and telemetry Strong assessment skills and comfort working with medically complex adult patients Ability to adapt to floating between unit areas as needed Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in both medical telemetry and intermediate care settings Monitor and manage patients with respiratory and cardiac conditions requiring close observation Support care for patients experiencing conditions such as COPD exacerbation, sepsis, DKA, respiratory failure, GI bleeding, and related diagnoses Administer and titrate care for patients requiring advanced respiratory support and cardiac drips Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes Float between areas of the unit when needed and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced acute care environment Why Apply for This Springfield Nursing Job?
