Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse position providing preoperative and post-anesthesia care within a surgical services setting. The role supports patients across multiple surgical specialties and includes scheduled daytime shifts, overnight call, weekend call, and holiday coverage. Job Details
Day shifts; 8-hour shifts; minimum 40 hours per week. Shift times range from 6:00 a.m.6:30 p.m., 7:00 a.m.7:30 p.m., 8:00 a.m.8:30 p.m., and 9:00 a.m.9:30 p.m. Additional Information: The role provides preoperative and post-anesthesia care in a seven-operating-room setting supporting Neuro, Plastics, Ear, Nose and Throat, Breast, General, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics, Vascular, and Endoscopy specialties.
On-call coverage includes approximately three to four weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call during an eight-week period, with coverage varying based on staffing needs. Weeknight call hours are 9:00 p.m.7:00 a.m.; weekend call hours are 7:00 a.m.7:00 a.m. Holiday call is required.
