Quick Look ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, PACU (Day Shift) in Baltimore, Maryland. Location Baltimore, MD Assignment Duration This is a 10-week contract position. Schedule/Shift This position requires a 4x10 Day Shift, working from 0800 to 1830, with no weekends or on-call duties.
The PACU RN will provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgical procedures. This role involves monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring patient comfort as they transition from anesthesia to recovery. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar acute care setting and demonstrate strong assessment and communication skills.
Responsibilities Monitor patients’ vital signs and level of consciousness post-surgery. Administer medications and fluids as prescribed. Provide discharge instructions and support to patients and families.
Assist in the management of post-anesthesia complications. Document patient conditions and care accurately in the Epic charting system. Required Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or similar recovery unit.
Previous charge experience is preferred. Certifications/Licensure Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
CPI certification is preferred and will be required upon hire.
