Quick Look ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, PACU (Day Shift) in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Location Greensburg, PA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift 3x12-hour shifts: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, including call 1 night per week (9:30 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekend call for Saturday and Sunday.
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care primarily in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), focusing on patients post-surgery. RNs will be expected to administer medications, assess patient conditions, and maintain compliance with safety and clinical standards as dictated by the facility. Responsibilities Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
Administer medications and manage IV therapy. Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments. Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using Cerner.
Provide patient and family education on post-surgical care. Respond to emergencies and assist in critical situations as needed. Required Experience Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
Previous charge experience preferred. Experience in the PACU or similar settings is a plus. Certifications/Licensure Active PA or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
