Details Operating Room unit in a teaching hospital setting 8-hour day shift, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 40 hours guaranteed No weekend requirements, but holidays required if needed Will float and precept to facility and an affiliated surgery center as needed Must have proficiency in Phase I and II PACU care Experience with sedation, critical drips, and telemetry interpretation required Responsible for preparing both the OR room and the patient Multiple surgical specialty experience required Requirements Active Massachusetts RN license required in hand at time of consideration, no compact, provisional, conditional, or temporary licenses accepted Current BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required Minimum 2 years of OR or Pre-Op experience required Phase I and II PACU experience required Multiple surgical specialty experience required BSN preferred PACU skills checklist current within 1 year required Pre/Peri-Op skills checklist current within 1 year required One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required Candidate must have their own vehicle for this assignment Additional Information Facility-provided scrubs 8 hours of non-billable orientation required Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered Permanent address must be included in candidate profile All scheduling and RTO requests must be submitted at time of profile submission; requests made after offer may result in rescinded offer Candidates preferring block scheduling or 10/12-hour shift accommodations will not be considered Candidates seeking to work this assignment in conjunction with another permanent placement or travel assignment will not be considered
