Nights, 4x12hrs Hours: 48 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is hiring a PCU RN Float for night shift coverage requiring 2 years of experience and a TX or compact RN license. Details PCU Float position supporting the Progressive Care Unit and floating to overflow areas and the ED for patient holds Night shift schedule, working 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00 Must be agreeable to an alternating 36/48 hour schedule Scheduled for 84 hours biweekly with a 72 hour guarantee Works in MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, and ER Holding settings EPIC charting experience preferred Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Strong RN experience required Additional Information Float to support PCU overflow and ED holds as needed Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen including marijuana testing, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation Candidates should avoid any products that could result in a positive drug screen, including CBD products Candidates must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting an offer RTO spanning all holidays will not be accepted Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
