Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Dec 14, 2026 Length: 16 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care/Intermediate Care unit, requiring tele and ICU/critical care experience along with a NY RN license. Details Progressive Care unit within a hospital setting 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week Will float to ICU on occasion to meet staffing needs as part of a float team Minimum of every other weekend required, with schedule adjustments as needed Performs insulin drips, cardiac drips, IV starts, and post cardiac cath care Requirements Active NY RN license or proof of pending application required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (NIHSS required prior to start) Minimum of 1 year telemetry experience required Some ICU/critical care experience required Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required Reliable personal or rental vehicle required due to lack of public transportation in the area Additional Information Provide intermediate/progressive level nursing care to a telemetry patient population Must work 2 of the following 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day/Eve No block scheduling permitted Bi-weekly orientation sessions required Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April Local candidates accepted
