✓2 years of RN experience
✓PCU/Step Down and Telemetry experience
✓1:4 patient ratio experience
✓Epic experience required
✓Cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia management experience
✓Experience titrating cardiac drips
✓Comfortable floating between units
✓Every other weekend required
✓6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
✓Provide nursing care to patients in a 29-bed Neuro Tele/PCU unit with a 1:4 ratio
✓Care for patients with TIA/stroke, epilepsy, trauma, neurosurgical conditions, and subdural hematomas
✓Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret/manage dysrhythmias
✓Manage and titrate cardiac drips, including Cardene and heparin, with capability to manage additional drips
✓Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed
✓Manage central and peripheral lines and administer blood products
✓Provide oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management
✓Collaborate with physicians, PT, OT, speech therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary teams
✓Float between units based on facility needs and scope of practice
✓Document patient care in Epic within a fast-paced acute-care environment

Night, 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hrs/week
