Position Details RN--Cardiac Medical Stepdown Unit (CMSU)- 36-or 48-Hr GTE!! Local candidates accepted, same bill rate!! MUST pass EKG Exam at Orientation Must be proficient in lab draws required No Blocked Scheduling Guaranteed (EXCEPT possibly weekend blocked)
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
12-Hr DAYS, required to work every other weekend/major holiday Unit Specific Details 24-Bed Cardiac Medical Stepdown Unit Patient Population: SD, cardiac, surgical, renal, End stage respiratory, continuous BiPAP Skill Sets: Cardiac drips and titrations, BiPAP, insulin drips, cardiac rhythm Equipment: Alaris pumps, BiPAP, PCA, GlucoStabilizer, bedside cardiac monitor, Hoyer and Sara Stedy lifts Scrubs: Navy blue, white, or any combination of the two colors Ratio*: 1:3-4 *Staffing ratios are subject to change based on facility needs and are not guaranteed.
