YES - FLOAT POOL POSITION WILL NOT be assigned a home unit. Will float between (roughly) 5 units – all Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU Departments and floating to other Metro campuses as needed. Certs REQ: BLS, NIHSS Certs Preferred: ACLS Skills REQ: Work Settings: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown.
Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring. Cardiovascular: Pre/Post Cardiac Cath. Sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, Renal Failure, AFIB, GIB, Stroke, COVID.
Skills Preferred: Cardiovascular: Sheath Removal. Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management. IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management.
