Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PCU Registered Nurse in Knoxville, TN. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated RNs looking to make a difference in patient care within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. We are committed to providing our nurses with the support and resources they need to succeed.
Key
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU/Step Down unit. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
Must have prior Cardiac Stepdown, PCU, or ICU/SD experience; 2-3 years experience preferred. Current BLS & ACLS certifications required; NIHSS can be obtained after being offered the position. Float required as needed.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month. Additional Information: EMR: Cerner / Medication System: Omnicell. RN - Patient Ratio: 1:4/5.
