Join Our Thriving Progressive Care Unit Team!
- Shift Type: 3x12s rotating (open to straight nights)
- Experience Required: 2 years of solid PCU experience (must be noted in work history)
- First-Timers: Welcomed based on experience level
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, as per unit needs
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- On-Call Requirement: No
- Floating Requirement: Yes, may float to sister facilities within the metro region as necessary
- Total Staffed Beds: 22
- Charting System: EPIC
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
About the Unit:
- Experience the buzz of our busy, collaborative progressive care unit!
- Care for a diverse medical-surgical population with varying levels of acuity.
- Teamwork and communication are key to our success.
- Enjoy a mixed acuity environment:
- 12-bed high acuity medical-surgical unit: 1:4-5 patient ratio
- 10-bed PCU: 1:3-4 patient ratio
- Maintain the same patient ratios for both day and night shifts.
- Rotate to med-surge assignments on the unit.
- Flexibility to float to other units when needed.
