Join Our Dynamic PCU Team!
- Unit Type: Mixed Acuity Progressive Care Unit -
- 3x12 hour shifts, rotating (preferred)
- Open to candidates willing to work straight nights
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of solid PCU experience (must be noted in work history)
- First-Timers Accepted: Yes, depending on experience
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, as per unit needs
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- On-Call Requirement: No
- Floating:
- Yes, travelers may need to float within scope to meet facility needs
- Possible float to sister facilities within the metro region
- Total Staffed Beds: 22
- Charting System: EPIC
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue

- Mixed acuity with:
- 12-bed high acuity medical-surgical unit: 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- 10-bed PCU: 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Ratios remain the same for both day and night shifts.
- Opportunity to rotate to med-surge assignments within the unit.
