12H Nights Total Weekly Hours: 36

BLS, NIHSS Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: Experience Required: Must have renal transplant, pd cath, hemodialysis, drains, tpn, wound care, diabetes encephalopathy, acute renal rejection, thymo administration - 2 years.

• Years of experience required: 1 to 2 years
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit.

Certifications Required: BLS, NIHSS Skills Required:

• Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams.
• Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols.
• Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post Hemodialysis, Management, Renal failure.
• IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.
• Medications: Heparin Protocols, PCA.
• Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks.
• Professional Topics and

Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Skills Preferred:

• Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA.
• Plastics: Surgical drains.
• Respiratory: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, Tracheostomy Management.
