PCU/Stepdown RN

12H Nights Total Weekly Hours: 36

KS RN or Compact RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIH Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: Experience

• 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing own labs
• Comfortable operating without a vascular access team, calling own consults, and conducting own codes
• Open-heart Day 2 or Day 3 experience with pacer wires (patient ratios are 3:1 or 4:1 tops)

License/Certification

- KS RN or Compact RN License - BLS, ACLS, & NIH certifications Floating

- Expected to float to ICU and all inpatient units: Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED with prior experience Additional Notes: - Must complete CBC, DS, and lab work within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
