Duties : Must have up to 1 year of level 1 trauma experience. Ped medical unit, so we see a range of ages from newborn to 18 years and we do not care for a specific patient population, so we prefer nurses that have a wide range of experience including respiratory and GI in a level 1 trauma facility. We do see some patients with trachs and on home ventilators as well - so RN's must have this experience as well.
