Pediatric Operating Room RN

Pediatric and Specialty Surgery Nurse (RN) Joplin, Missouri. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the pediatric surgical unit at a healthcare facility. Job Details Position: RN Pediatric and Specialty Surgery Location: Joplin, Missouri

Night shifts, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week Required

ADN or BSN with Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS); at least 1 year of experience in a pediatric department.

Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) preferred, maintaining a safe patient environment according to American Womens Health and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines; experience with precepting new staff. Patient Population: Pediatric patients in a surgical setting

Maintain safe patient environment, assist with unit duties, coordinate staffing, provide call coverage, communicate effectively with healthcare teams, and uphold professional standards. Additional Information: Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English; basic knowledge of computer and office equipment required.
