Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RRT for a night shift position requiring newborn experience and the ability to work independently across all patient age groups. Details Work in the Pulmonary Medicine department of an 83-bed rural hospital Cover respiratory needs for all ages, from infant deliveries to elderly patients Includes coverage of ER and ICU patients as well as high-risk deliveries and trauma cases No NICU on site, but facility has Labor & Delivery Use ventilators, BiPAPs, high flows, and all oxygen delivery systems Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends On-call back-up available Requirements Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required NYS DOH license required if applicable Minimum 3 years of experience required, 5+ years preferred Newborn experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA certifications only) NRP and PALS certifications preferred Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration Additional Information Work independently on night shift covering a broad range of respiratory care needs Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate Candidates with prior work history at Northwell or Nuvance Health locations may be subject to an additional eligibility review process First-time travelers may be considered for this position
