Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Start Date: 11/20/2026 Duration: 10 weeks Join a leading healthcare provider as a Pediatric Stepdown Registered Nurse in New Haven, CT. Key
Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the Stepdown unit. Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required. Strongly prefer candidates with travel experience. BLS certification is required.
Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs. Pending licenses accepted; must be active prior to start date. Additional Information: Guaranteed hours available.
Weekend
Every other weekend. Average patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:4. No holiday requests off (RTO) permitted.
Local radius restrictions waived for this 10-week assignment. Open to accommodating block schedules. This position is located in a Short Term Acute Care Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds.
