Not ProvidedComments Orientation Dates: 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26 Only Cardiac Perfusionist – 8 Hour shift/per week 6:30a Start Mon-Fri – Call Required. There is a 6-tier call system for nights and weekends. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with 1 year experience recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility.
We would need an experienced perfusionist to cover cardiac cases, lung transplants on ecmo, possibly ECMO coverage during the day, possibly in the evenings, and weekends. Prior travel experience is preferred, not required. Any perfusionist will need to be able to operate POC devices.
Required a high school diploma or college degree diploma as this is a requirement for their CAPS certification. Required: ABCP - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Certification in addition to Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License. Cover any type of case, regardless of complexity, that would come up day/night.
This includes, but not limited to: CABG, valves, adult congenital, dissections, complex aortic, minimally invasive, etc. We cover cardiac, thoracic, and liver transplants. We cover ECMO in-house 24/7 responding to all cannulations, decannulations, circuit manipulations, CT transport, and physical therapy sessions.
We cover TAVRs and LLE in CL/EP as well as mechanical thrombectomies. There are also sporadic combo cases with vascular we are on standby for. While we travel a fair amount for organ recovery, I don’t believe that would be a requirement.
We cover HIPEC cases too. This does not include managing the pump at the bedside. This team also does ECMO transports from outside hospital, NRP, some liver tx, lung tx, heart tx, and HiPEC cases.
IVS to interview/Mgr to offer.
