Perfusionist Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized perfusion services within an operating room environment, supporting approximately 300 cases per year. The role requires adherence to clinical standards and collaboration with a team of surgical providers, with a focus on maintaining patient stability during procedures.

The position includes shared 24/7 coverage and on-call responsibilities, with scheduling involving rotating shifts. Job Details

Rotating shift hours, 8 hours per shift, a minimum of 40 hours per week. Required

Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission, at least 1 year of experience as a perfusionist, and proficiency in area-specific skills including CVOR procedures, pump management, and equipment setup and priming.

Experience with charting systems such as Epic, and experience in LTAC, trauma-level settings, or travel assignments. Additional Information: On-call required; backup shared among three perfusionists on a 24/7 basis. Participation in holiday coverage, with at least three major holidays required.

Must commit to working on a minimum of three of five designated holidays. Must meet specific experience and licensure requirements, including local radius restrictions. Respondees are asked to provide references covering a one-year period within the last three years and disclose any prior work at a Providence facility.

Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in contract termination. The position involves the use of specialized equipment including S5 Pumps, hemochron, iStat blood gases, cardioquip heater coolers, and Fresenius cell savers. No ECMO procedures are performed; patients requiring ECMO are stabilized until transport.
