Very likely for 1+ extension What will training consist of/how long will training be? Since this is primarily product verification, training will be 2-3 weeks depending on capability of pharmacist. What does their day to day look like in the hospital? Coordinating workflow in the central pharmacy, checking medication product (IVs, premade IVs, creams, insulin pens, etc.) checking code carts have been restocked correctly. Any insight into the team size/work environment? CENTRAL pharmacy staffs 5 pharmacists and 10 technicians on day shift and 2 pharmacists and 5-6 technicians on evening shift. This pharmacist is the primary pharmacist to oversee central pharmacy operations where the other pharmacists are doing more order review within the EHR. Will they be on site 100% of the time? Yes Will they have oversight of pharmacy technicians? Yes, they oversee workflow of the surrounding technicians and occasionally will redirect them as needed to pertinent tasks.
