Pharmacy - Pharmacist Outpatient

• Position: Oncology Pharmacist
• Start Date: 9/14
• Contract Length: 13 weeks?

5x8s 0800 - 1630 M-F. •

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• On-call or weekend requirements? Possible
• Required certifications/licenses: Oregon Pharmacist License and BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Previous oncology or chemotherapy infusion experience required? If so, how many years? Previous direct oncology pharmacy experience (3+ years) strongly preferred (within the last 3-5 years or currently)
• Will the pharmacist be verifying chemotherapy only, or will they also be involved in compounding, patient education, or other clinical responsibilities? They will be the infusion center's oncology pharmacy expert and source of information. Compounding when needed, verification of technician compounding when available, patient education, and other clinical responsibilities expected.
• Which EMR and pharmacy system are used? EPIC and Pyxis
• Will this be a brand-new program, or will they be joining an existing pharmacy team? Brand new program. Previous experience and willingness to learn and be a part of the growing process is strongly preferred.
• Any interview availability or timeline you're hoping to fill this by? Preference is to have this position filled by the start date or ASAP after
