Variable Shift the shifts are 4x10, day/evening rotating. Set days of week are negotiable. Must have EPIC experience.

We open at 0600 and end at 2100 Must have at least 3 years hospital experience with IV compounding experience There can be call for the pharmacists but may be negotiable Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine orthopedics obstetrics digestive disorders wound care and various medical surgical and outpatient services.

Locals enjoy weekly farmers markets in downtown Templeton farm-to-fork dining beautiful landscapes for hiking and biking and beach days just fifteen minutes away at Cambria and Morro Bay. Job

Performs packaging manipulative repetitive or other nondiscretionary tasks related to the furnishing of drugs while assisting and under the direct supervision and control of a pharmacist. Fills and delivers the unit dose cassettes from the patients profile to nursing units. Job

Education and Work

High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate?s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related

Preferred Licenses/Certifications: State Pharmacy Technician license: Required in state of practice CA or OR Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification: Preferred

Pulls medications from stock and matches medications with the corresponding label generated by the pharmacist involved with entry of medication orders into the patient?s computer generated profile in an accurate manner. Maintains floor stock restocking removal of expired medications rotate stock of nursing areas and other medication areas. Prices and stocks in-coming deliveries.

Prepares IV medication products within the guidelines of applicable laws and regulations. Checks in orders from wholesaler and suppliers. Distributes appropriately the stock and file paperwork processes returns and back orders in a timely manner.
