Job Title Physical Therapist (PT) Location Pittsburg, KS | Acute Rehab Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | Days | 13 Weeks | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services on a 12-bed Acute Rehab Unit serving patients 18 and older Treat a patient population with common diagnoses including orthopedic and neurological conditions Utilize a variety of rehabilitation equipment including FWW with platform attachments, rollator, hemi walker, Hoyer lift, sit-to-stand, and bariatric equipment Document patient care using the Epic EHR system Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule Float to alternate units (Med/Surg, CSD, ICU) on an occasional, non-daily basis per a reciprocal staffing agreement with a partner facility Required Qualifications Graduate degree in Physical Therapy required (MSPT or DPT) Active and valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure — Kansas compact eligibility noted; compact state license may not be accepted (verify licensure requirements prior to applying) Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Ability to maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 Willingness to adhere to facility dress code (black scrubs) Preferred Experience / Skills Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred Experience treating orthopedic and/or neurological patient populations Optimistic outlook on patient recovery and demonstrated flexibility in a dynamic clinical environment
