Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 9, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring 1+ year of recent home health experience and BLS certification. Details Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day, approximately 30 patients per week Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM No weekend shifts or on-call requirements Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office, with flexibility expected across the territory HCHB EMR experience preferred iPad provided for documentation; mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent home health experience required BLS certification required Oasis experience required CA license required in hand; license required if applicable Must meet weekly productivity point requirements Strong communication and documentation skills required Additional Information Responsibilities include home exercise program development and patient/family education Treats conditions including orthopedic, neurologic, and post-surgical cases such as joint replacements and spinal conditions Scrubs of any color required; no jeans permitted Cell phone use not permitted; iPad provided by facility First-time travelers accepted Local candidates accepted at the travel rate Any time off requests must be submitted at time of application
