Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU). Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercises.
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Cerner. This position does not require floating to other units and is based in a facility with 13 beds dedicated to rehabilitation.
