We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week travel contract at Hermann Area District Hospital. This opportunity is ideal for a therapist looking to work in a community-focused hospital while providing personalized rehabilitation services to patients with a variety of needs. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapeutic exercise and mobility training, improving strength and balance, and helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and other medical conditions.
You will work alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient recovery, improve functional independence, and promote safe transitions back to daily activities. Hermann Area District Hospital provides acute care, skilled care, rehabilitation, and outpatient services, offering the opportunity to contribute to patient care in a smaller community hospital environment. During your 13-week assignment, you can explore the historic downtown district, browse local shops and restaurants, visit museums, and enjoy scenic outdoor activities.
