This 13-week outpatient Physical Therapist opportunity is based in the vibrant community of Vauxhall, New Jersey, a centrally located area in Union County. The area features a variety of shopping centers, family-friendly amenities, and diverse dining options, creating a comfortable and dynamic place to live and work during your assignment. The position is a full-time, day-shift Temp Direct role with a schedule of 5 eight-hour shifts per week, totaling approximately 40 hours. The clinic operates as a busy outpatient setting, serving a broad mix of patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.
You will be part of a collaborative rehabilitation team focused on high-quality, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on functional outcomes and evidence-based practice. In this role, you will manage a structured, high-volume caseload with 3 patients scheduled per hour and an expectation of 14–16 patient visits per day and at least 70 patient visits per week. Your typical day will include comprehensive evaluations, development of individualized plans of care, implementation of therapeutic exercise and manual therapy interventions, patient and family education, and close coordination with referring providers and internal team members.
You will document care using the clinic’s EMR system, with orientation and support provided to ensure a smooth onboarding. The outpatient environment is designed to support efficient, organized workflows with access to modern therapy equipment and treatment spaces. The clinic emphasizes professional collaboration and open communication, creating a supportive atmosphere for both new and experienced therapists.
While there is no on-call requirement, therapists are expected to provide consistent, reliable coverage during scheduled daytime hours, contributing to continuity of care and strong therapeutic relationships with patients.
