Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Postpartum Registered Nurse to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position focuses on Mother-Baby and Couplet Care, providing exceptional care to new mothers and their infants. As a Postpartum RN, you will be responsible for caring for high-risk obstetric patients and managing magnesium sulfate postpartum care.
You will work in a Magnet Facility with a total of 377 staffed beds, ensuring that both mother and baby receive the highest quality of care. Key
Provide care for postpartum patients, including those with high-risk conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient progress and respond to any complications.
Assist with newborn care, including feeding, soothing, and changing. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Experience with high-risk obstetric patients preferred. Certifications required: BLS, NRP.
On-call availability is required. Ability to float between like units as needed (L&D for recoveries, NICU assistance). Local candidates are welcome; pending licenses are not accepted.
