Days Job Type: Full Time Professional registered nurse gives direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients while preparing for intra-operative experience. The nurse in the pre-op role coordinates the care of the patient and is the patient advocate throughout the pre-operative experience. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Speaking and hearing essential for relaying of information, receiving doctors orders. Visual acuity required to work with records and equipment. Frequently lifting 30-50 pounds/ repositioning of patients.
Are to push stretchers to the OR room with patients in attendance to facilitate efficient time management. Works beyond scheduled tour of duty in an emergency. Maintains a state of health adequate to perform the duties of the job.
Possible contact to moving mechanical parts. Required to make decisions and concentrate – continuously. Exposure to temperature extremes – moderate.
