Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Dec 4, 2026 Length: 14 weeks Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care/Med Surg Tele position requiring 2 years of PCU/MS Tele experience and FL or compact RN licensure. Details Work in a 36-bed Med Surg/Telemetry unit, with a mix of Progressive Care and Med Surg patients RN to patient ratios of 5-6:1 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week Floating required, including to other campuses, Med Surg units, PCU, and ED Hold, with home base on a Med Surg Tele floor Travelers are expected to float first, including to sister campuses located 15-20 minutes away Uses Epic EMR No on-call requirements Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of combined PCU and Med Surg/Tele experience required Nursing degree from an accredited program or 5 years of experience required Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing Required documents for consideration: SSN card, driver's license, and COVID/Flu documentation Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care and Med Surg/Tele environment, functioning as part of the core staff Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred Must wear Galaxy Blue or White scrubs All requested RTO must be submitted prior to start; RTO requests will not be approved after offer Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person attendance required for badge and ID Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start, with no exceptions for pending documentation Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and cannot own or cosign property within that radius Local candidates are not accepted for this position Candidates must secure full-time housing in the area for the duration of the assignment First-time travelers are welcome to apply
