Full-Time Inpatient Acute Care PT Opportunity – Abbeville, SC Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Inpatient Acute Care travel assignment in Abbeville, South Carolina . This is a great opportunity for a PT who enjoys the variety of a hospital environment and working with patients at different stages of recovery. You'll evaluate and treat hospitalized patients with a focus on mobility, strength, balance, safety, and helping determine the appropriate next level of care.
Position Highlights Inpatient Acute Care setting Full-time travel assignment Adult and geriatric patient population Diverse hospital-based caseload Medically complex patients Interdisciplinary hospital environment Great opportunity to build or continue acute care experience Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current South Carolina PT license or ability to obtain prior to start Current BLS certification Strong evaluation and clinical decision-making skills Comfortable treating medically complex patients Strong documentation and communication skills Acute care or hospital experience preferred
Perform PT evaluations and reassessments Develop individualized plans of care Provide gait, balance, strengthening, transfer, and mobility training Address bed mobility and functional transfers Assist with discharge planning and recommendations Educate patients and caregivers Collaborate with OT, SLP, nursing, physicians, and case management Complete timely clinical documentation Why Abbeville, SC?
