  • Unit Information:
  • Beds: 4 cardiac rooms and 3 vascular rooms
  • Minimum Years of Experience required: at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience
  • Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
  • Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
  • Cardiac cases: NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip
  • Vascular cases: Mostly lower extremity angiograms and EVAR and TEVAR cases
  • Required License, National Certification, Certs:
  • Cardiac Cath Tech: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or RCIS
  • Skills required:
  • Cardiac Cath Tech:
  • Required: Cath Lab experience; MUST have peripheral angiogram/run-off experience. Prefer experience with endografts, EVARs, TEVARS, etc. If no experience with those, MUST be willing to be taught here. Please send for manager approval if missing this experience
  • Preferred: highly prefer experience in IR or in a lab working with vascular surgeons

  • Scheduling:
  • Weekend rotation: discussed during interview
  • On call:
  • Vascular: two weekends every month and two weekdays of call.
  • Response time 1 hour
  • Cardiac: one call night every week and every 5th weekend
  • Response time 30 minutes
  • Cover both in interview; manager will go further into call and which one they’ll cover in 2nd interview
  • Holiday Expectations: Travelers will do at least one holiday in a contract if applicable
  • RTO: Manager approval
  • Shift times: 0730-1800 (4 (10) hour shifts)
  • Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks
  • Travelers cover each other’s RTO, so could be extra call in events of RTO
