NO Job Duties Scrub & monitor EP lab cases. Experience or 'Must have' skills Competent to scrub and monitor device implants, EP ablations, LAAO cases. Have a good understanding of EP lab, cardiolab pacing and ablating.
EMR/Equipment Cerner currently, Epic in October, Merge in the Cath/EP Lab Cardiologist hours/on call Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Manager on shift and does not take assignments.
Cath Lab Techs Yes. Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) No self scheduling.
We schedule staff. Shift - 0630- 1700, (10 hr shift) four days/week. Weeknight/Call Requirements Approx 7-9 week days/month Weekend/Call Requirements One weekend/month - Cath lab No weekends for EP Lab Holiday/Call Requirements Yes - Cath Lab No - EP lab What is call response time? 30 minutes Floating Requirements Not outside of the hospital.
Only within the Cath Lab. No IR. Will Techs be required to float to IR or EP?
