Requirements for submittal: Coversheet, LIC and Certs in hand, Float form if applicable. Schedule Notes: 48hrs/ week 13 weeks 7A-7P
- · Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required. Associates degree in Radiology Technology required. · ARRT Certification required. · KY State Certification required. · BLS required. · Nuclear Medicine Certification preferred. · ODC preferred. Additional Certifications Required or Preferred:
- EKG training required / Annual EKG competency review required
- ACLS required next available class within six months
- BLS training required
- PALS within 24 months hire/transfer
- Assists with performing sterile diagnostic and interventional care to patients from young adults through the elderly. Demonstrates basic competency in specialized procedures/equipment i.e. Diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology structural heart and interventional radiology procedures i.e.
- Assist with Cardiac Cath and Interventional Procedures PTCA PCI Rotablator CSI Penumbra etc.
- Assist with Balloon Pump / Impella insertion maintenance and troubleshooting
- Assist with Intravascular Ultrasound IVUs
- Assist with Fractional flow reserve FFR / Instantaneous wave-free ratio iFR
- Assist with Vascular Procedures IVC filters peripheral runoffs acute and chronic occlusions PTA/stenting Radiofrequency Ablations AAA repair TCAR Carotid Angiography Renal Angiograms Graftograms/Fistulograms EKOS
- Assist with Vascular Access
- Assist with maintaining/pulling arterial and/or venous sheaths manual compression hemostasis devices etc.
- Assist with the insertion of a temporary pacemaker
- Assist in the care of critically ill patients
- Assist with Arterial amp Venous closure devices Mynx Vascade Perclose Angioseal TR Band: application maintenance removal and post care
- Assist with Spectranetics laser
- Assist with Thermodilution and Invasive Monitoring / Hemodynamics calculations
- Assist with Structural heart procedures TAVR Watchman PFO closures Mitraclips
- Assist with Pacemaker/ ICD placement
- Assist with Loop Recorder insertion/removal
- Assist with Radiofrequency ablations
- Assist with Cryoablations
- Assist with Electrical Pulse Field Ablations
- Assist with Electrophysiology EP procedures
- Assist with Synchronized Cardioversion/Defibrillation
- Assist with Sterile Technique Radiological positioning/techniques Cardiac Monitor lead placement
- Maintain contrast volume used and report to physician as indicated.
- Set up use and maintain contrast delivery methods such as Acist device or manual manifold
- Assist in trouble shooting X-Ray Equipment and other Cath Lab Equipment
- Assist in gathering Data for PCI registry
- Assist with Postmortem Care
- Assist with ACT
- Patient Transport
- EMR monitoring systems
- Continuously assess hemodynamic stability using invasive and non-invasive measures ensuring all values procedural details and clinical responses are precisely documented on the EMR Epic and hemodynamic monitoring system Philips XPER
- Call coverage 24/7 365 days with a 30-minute hospital arrival time Certificates and Licenses: Description: Assists with performing sterile diagnostic and interventional care to patients from young adults through the elderly.
