Please ensure traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team" where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a position with Ochsner Health, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur.

Although Halloween is not a paid holiday, some units may require traveler coverage. 3x13 (0700 - 2030) Need ED, Inpatient, & Outpatient experience required Candidate expected to float between ED, main campus, outpatient, and clinics within walking distance of main campus Epic experience required GE experience required Unit does not accept first time travelers BLS required If workday falls on a holiday, then it is required to work that holiday
