Day Shift/Must have EPIC experienceIn the heart of The Dalles Oregon Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has served the Columbia River Gorge community since 1901. We are comprised of a 49-bed hospital various medical offices home health a birthing center and a vast scope of services located throughout The Dalles and the surrounding areas. The Dalles is known for its picturesque views of the Columbia River local charm and delicious downtown restaurants and bakeries.

Operates computed tomography CT equipment producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT including general radiography and fluoroscopy. This position is represented by OFNHP.

Education and Work

Associate?s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R. T. RCTARRT OR R.

T. RARRT: Required Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI Preferred in CA Basic Life Support BLS?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR Facility Specific License/Certifications: ARRT-Computed Tomography ARRT-CT: Required Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Assesses plans implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.

Maintains accurate records files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
