-One 1 to Two 2 years of Angio/Interventional experience. --Radiation Badge Requirement: -A personal radiation monitoring badge dosimeter is required for this assignment. -To maintain an accurate and continuous exposure record providers are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous employer or assignment when available. -If a new badge is issued prior exposure history will not be reflected. null Certificates and Licenses: Description: Job

-Responsible for completing Angiography procedures scrubbing setting techniques and taking images.

-Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for the position. -Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech scrub tech or monitoring tech according to Angio lab policies and procedures and Scope of Practice documents. -Understands and operates IR equipment and related information systems appropriately to ensure that quality images are produced. -Ensures proper patient identification order verification and prepares the patient for the exam. -Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment for patients and staff. -Develops specific knowledge about invasive diagnostic and interventional supplies appropriate indications and applications and proper use and deployment techniques. -Follows appropriate protocol for medical necessity coding and charging guidelines obtaining necessary consents maintaining applicable QC programs and reporting any equipment failures or problems. -Provides appropriate patient education ensures patient comfort and addresses patient and/or family concerns. -Keeps accurate records of patient information procedures performed and any adverse reactions or incidents. -Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers following the procedure. -At the end of the procedure sutures the sheath in place or removes the sheath and applies pressure to obtain hemostasis. -Maintains work area and stocks needed supplies. -Transports patients as needed. -Assists with SIRT Mapping/Treatments. -Assists with Embolizations. -Assists with Neph Tube Placements. -Assists with Biliary Tube Placements. -Assists with CT guided procedures including drains biopsies and ablations. -Performs Neuro-IR Stroke and Diagnostic procedures. null Weekends Required: On Call Required: Interview Type: Process Level Department Description: N/A
