About the Position Position/Specialty: Mammography Tech

5x8s, M-F, 8:30a-5p Daily Caseload: 15-20 mammos Weekend REQ: No (volunteer only if events are scheduled) Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? (Y/N): No, technologist will stay within the Breast Center Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year First-timers accepted: Yes Cert/License

BLS; ARRT (M); SCRQSA (M) SC state license Equipment experience Preferred: Hologic, Siemens Special

Experience in screening and diagnostic mammograms; Stereo Biopsy, Breast Ultrasound and Ultrasound Biopsies are a plus but not required. Radiation Badge Req (Y/N): Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule?

Approval prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles.

Are locals accepted? Yes, at 10% less than the posted bill rate Pending State License accepted: No, SC license must be in hand prior to start RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility need.

Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level III Trauma, Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 286 Scrub Color: Teal Top and Black Bottom Charting preferred: Epic Parking Cost: None Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season.

Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
